Going North

A few family issues sorted out, beautiful weather, sunny with a cool northern wind; it s time to hit the road and go North. The idea is to explore small roads to see the best of the country
First stage travelling through Ariege department, lunch at Mirepoix, its ancient houses attract the travellers, so is the festival de la marionette. shady pavements to park motorbikes and for cafe terrasses.
Through the rugged Tarn region, I travel through small villages, dark forests....
